Spit N' Mud has it's roots in Salinas California. John Clark and Paul Nevarez have been playing in various bands through the years. They formed Spit N' Mud 4 years ago wanting to bring something a little different. We consider ourselves "Rockin' Outlaw Country with an Edge". With John on lead vocals/ guitar, Paul on backup vocals/ guitar, Ricky Bustamante on bass guitar, Tim Bushman on Keyboards, and Paul Laut on drums.

Out of Monterey County comes the Legendary Chicano All Stars Band. Well known as an extremely talented, dynamic and energetic all pro-musician band. Awarded at Monterey Herald’s Readers’ Choice winner for Best Local Band for 2019. The Chicano All Stars Band boasts professional musicianship and stage presence which appeals to a wide variety of audiences and guarantees to keep you on the dance floor! Band founder, Sam Martinez, is a seasoned performer well-known as a solid and highly polished vocalist, songwriter, as well as an experienced drummer and guitarist. This year the band is celebrating their 25th year since its inception. Chicano All Stars Band has built a solid reputation as one of Monterey’s local legends, a favorite dance band and recognized as
the top Latin Rock band in this area for their energized Latin Rock sound, Cumbia, Rhythm & Blues, Old School and Reggae.

 

The band performs regularly at the most upscale local clubs including Sly McFly’s on Cannery Row in Monterey, The Golden State Theatre in Monterey, The Granada Theatre in Gilroy, headlined First Night Monterey as well as many local Food & Wine Festivals, Monterey County Fair, California Artichoke Festival, San Benito County Fair. The band also performs for many City of Hollister and City of Gilroy events as well as many corporate and private events.

 

Chicano All Stars has had the pleasure of performing and sharing the stage with such names as Los Lobos, Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, Eddie Money, Brenton Wood, Ron Ellison, Sista Monica, Ramon Ayala, Sonora Dynamita, Los Tucanes and Tigeres Del Norte, Tierra, Malo, El Chicago, Tower of Power, WAR, Richard Ben & SAPO, The Delfonics, The Intruders, The Turtles, Jay & The Americans with Denny Lane, as well as Jorge Santana.
