TOURNAMENT FEE:
$250per player
(tax deductible)
Registration: 8:00 am
Shotgun Start: 9:00 am
*Fee includes: Greens fee, golf cart, prizes, tee prize, Hole-in-One, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive contests, awards for lowest gross, and lowest net scores. Breakfast provided. Post-tournament awards luncheon and raffle prizes.
**All taxes/registration fees to be paid by player. Prize taxes/fees are the responsibility of the prize winners. $15 cash donations accepted for Mulligans (limit five Mulligans per team). Your contributions are tax deductible.
Along with sponsorship support, golf proceeds and donations allow Castroville Artichoke Festival, Inc. to continue funding many charitable and educational non-profit organizations. Big Choke Golf is a group of players from the Monterey Peninsula, whose purpose is to play golf while raising funds for youth in the North Monterey County community through their non-profit, Jr. Choke Foundation. All contributions are tax deductible.

FOR OUR 2024 CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT, THE ARTICHOKE FESTIVAL IS PROUD TO reprise their alliance with Big Choke Golf in support of the youth of our community. The Jr. Choke Foundation, is a non-profit organization formed to help fund sports programs and scholastic opportunities for the youth of North Monterey County High School. Started by a group of North County High alums known as Big Choke Golf, this group of friends gather together a few times a year to play golf and raise funds for the youth of their alma mater. Proceeds of the 5th Annual Artichoke Festival Charity Golf Tournament enable the Festival organization (also a 501(c)(3) non-profit), to not only continue funding the many charitable and educational non-profit groups that help make the Artichoke Festival a successful contributor to our community, but also support the same group of young people for whom the Jr. Choke Foundation was created. All contributions are tax deductible.

In case of extreme weather or conditions warranting closure, this event will be rescheduled. Golf course management is not responsible for management of this tournament.
